Lauren has spent twenty years in patient care — fifteen as a registered nurse before qualifying as a Family Nurse Practitioner five years ago. That path matters. Nurses spend more time with patients than almost anyone else in medicine, and it shows in how she practises: she reads your bloodwork against your history and what you're actually describing, not against a threshold on a chart.

Her clinical background spans urgent care and surgical practice with a Scottsdale plastic surgeon, and she has volunteered with Health Caring Services in Honduras. Arizona grants nurse practitioners full practice authority, which means she evaluates, diagnoses and prescribes independently — including controlled substances under her DEA registration.

Outside the clinic she's raising two sons, runs, and travels whenever the calendar allows.

Josh built AZTRT after going through hormone care himself and finding the experience worse than it needed to be — a different provider at every visit, a portal that took days to answer, and nobody who could explain what the numbers meant.

He is not a clinician and makes no clinical decisions. His job is the part around the medicine: keeping pricing published and predictable, getting labs and medication to you without a wasted trip, and making sure Lauren has the time to do the work properly rather than being scheduled into seven-minute slots.
